Abstract:

The aim of the study is to explore the added value effectiveness of intellectual capital elements on profitability and efficiency by moving from the decade financial statements of 15 technology companies operating in Bursa Istanbul (BIST TÜM-100) covering the years 2008-2017. For this purpose, the intellectual capital effectiveness of 15 technology companies was measured using the intellectual value added ratio method. The intellectual capital effectiveness of technology companies is based on years of work. Thus, ten-year financial tables data have been analyzed using Panel data techniques. The "unity root tests" of the series to be used in the model have been done, the series have been studied whether or not, the series have been determined whether or not, the regression models have been obtained after determining whether the series are stable. Relationships between the effectiveness of the intellectual capital components and the financial performance standards of profitability and efficiency have been measured. In the models obtained by the analysis, the effectiveness of human capital has a significant contribution to profitability but has a low contribution to efficiency.
