Bu makalenin amacı, “Eğitim programı1'’ ve “öğrettim” terimlerinin kullanılmasında yaygın olarak karşılaşılan belirsizlikleri ve karışıklıkları enaza indirgemek için bir temel oluşturmaktır. Eğitim programı kavramından ayrı bir tanım olarak, “Öğretim” kavramı şeklinde özelleştirilmiş bir tanım verilmektedir. Bu iki tanım, anlamlı olarak kullanılan öğretim sürecinin ve eğitim kavramının genel anlamından farklı olarak ele alınmıştır.
