Abstract:

İlk kez Aristoteles tarafından ilkeleri belirlenen Realizm, eğitimin insanıiyi, mükemmel yetilerle donatarak mutluluğunu sağlaması gerektiğini ileri sürer. Aslında bu düşünceyi temel alan eğitim 1. insanınönemli gücü olan aklın, onu bilgi alanları konusunda aydınlatırken geliştirmeyi, 2. insanları akıllarını kullanarak yapacakları tercihlerde ne istediklerini bilme, mükemmel bir potansiyel oluşturarak kendilerini ifade etme ve rasyonel hiyerarşik, düzene göre benimseyecekleri amaç ve rollerle de kendi kimliklerini belirleme konusunda cesaretlendirmeyi hedefler.
