Abstract:

It has been stated that there are many environmental factors affecting entrepreneurship. One of the most significant of these factors perhaps is gender. The study aims to survey entrepreneurship ability and to suggest solutions by analyzing whether gender reveals entrepreneurship potentiality. In this regard, the survey form which was formed through 5 point Likert scale following the literature search has been put to reliability test and some solutions have been suggested through an analysis of the acquired data. Result of analysises it is seen that female and male entrepreneurs have different and similar features. It is understood that there isn’t any difference between taking risk, vision, high achievement incentive and communication skill features of gender and entrepreneur attributes in this study. Furthermore it is seen that there are significant differences between self-confidence, tolerance for uncertainty, independence, evaluation of opportunities, innovation, aspect of leadership and internal control features of gender and entrepreneurs.
