So many results that aren't mine?

Abstract:

As a result of the  developing technology and international cooperation, the enterprises started to be composed of employees with different characteristics. Employees with different religious, linguistic, cultural, educational, personality and value judgments come together in the business world. These differences need to be managed effectively to add value to the business. Another effect of changing business conditions has emerged in career understanding. The sense of progress in the career has become a whole new concept and old career insights have begun to change. It is very important for the business managers,  employee  accept these changes in the career understanding  and them adapt to changing conditions. At the same time, there is a need for employees who are adaptable for the continuity of being employable. Diversity management practices will have an impact on the ability of employees to keep up with changes in their career.In order to facilitate this process, the effective management of employees with different career expectations and thought structures will contribute. This study is based on the assumption that the diversity management in enterprises will affect the career adaptability of employees. For this purpose, the relations between the perception of diversity management and tcareer adaptability of white collar employees in Düzce Organized Industrial Zone were investigated. Data were collected from the quantitative research methods and analyzed using SPSS program. According to the findings of the study, it is seen that the employees in the sample feel the existence of the management practices of diversity management in their businesses and they think that they have the ability to adapt to the career. It was found that there was a positive relationship between the employees' perceptions of diversity management and career adaptability. Finally, it was observed that the both diversity management perception and career adaptability differ according to demographic characteristics.
