Abstract:

For women entrepreneurs who are actively involved in the business life, the concept of employment satisfaction that women entrepreneurs have gained from the business, which has become an indispensable element of life. In this study, the determination of the demographic characteristics of women who operate as entrepreneurs in the Yalova province, the job satisfaction is aimed at studying in the context of determined demographic characteristics. The study consists of 167 women working as entrepreneurs in Yalova province. The survey form applied to participants in the study was first submitted to the reliability test (Cronbach's Alpha: 0.827) after the factor analysis. "Kruskal Wallis-H" and "Mann Whitney U" tests have been applied to determine whether work satisfaction points differ according to demographic characteristics and to determine the source of difference. The study found that women entrepreneurs have a meaningful relationship between their business satisfaction and the sector operated and the income variation.
