Katılım bankacılığı, mal ve hizmetlerin para ile sıkı sıkıya bağlı olduğu, para ile ilgili işlemlerin kesinlikle bir mal veya hizmete dayandırıldığı, elde edilen gelirin ise kâra ve zarara ortaklık şeklinde paylaşıldığı bir mali sistemdir.Bu çalışmada Türkiye’de katılım bankalarının gelişimi ile katılım bankacılığı tercihinin, müşterilerin bazı demografik özellikleri bakımından incelenmiştir. Bu amaç için 23 ilde 5 farklı katılım bankasının 516 müşterisine anket uygulanmıştır. Anket, müşterilerin bazı demografik özellikleri ile müşterilerin katılım bankalarını tercih etme nedenlerine dayalı 23 maddeden oluşan 5’li likertli sorulardan oluşmuştur. Verilerin analizi için çeşitli betimsel istatistikler, t Testi, Tek Yönlü Varyans Analizi ve Çoklu Karşılaştırma İstatistikleri kullanılmıştır.Çalışma sonucunda müşterilerin katılım bankalarını tercih etme nedenleri algısının cinsiyete, yaşa, medeni duruma, aylık gelir düzeyine göre %5 önem seviyesinde anlamlı bir farklılık göstermemektedir. Müşterilerin katılım bankalarını tercih etme nedenleri algısı, eğitim durumuna göre ise %5 önem seviyesinde farklılık göstermektedir.
Participation banking is a financial system where goods and services are closely linked to money, where the transactions related to money are definitely based on a good or service, where the earnings are shared in the form of cooperation with the interests and losses.In this study, the development of participation banks in Turkey and participation banking preference have been studied in terms of some demographic characteristics of customers. For this purpose, the survey was applied to 516 customers from 23 provinces and 5 different participating banks. The survey consisted of 5 liquid questions based on some demographic characteristics of customers and the reasons why customers prefer participating banks. For the analysis of the data, a variety of visual statistics, t test, one-way variance analysis and multi-comparation statistics have been used. According to the study, the reason why customers prefer participating banks does not show a significant difference in perception by gender, age, civic status, monthly income level by 5% of importance. The perception of the reasons for customers to prefer participating banks varies by 5% of importance depending on their educational status.
