H.G. Gadamer, geliştirmiş olduğu felsefî hermenötik kuramı ve 1960 yılında yayınlanan “Wartheit und Methode” (Hakikat ve Yöntem) adlı eseriyle dikkatleri üzerine çekmeyi başarmış önemli bir Alman düşünürüdür. Gadamer’in felsefî hermenötik kuramının mahiyeti hakkında bilgi verip buradan hareketle onun hermenötiğe kazandırmış olduğu yeni ufukların değerlendirilmesi bu incelemenin temel gayesidir. Gadamer’in felsefî hermenötiğinde öne çıkan hususların konu edildiği bu araştırmada öncelikle hermenötiğin Hermes’ten Heidegger’e kadar geçirmiş olduğu tarihi süreç özetlenmiştir. Bu bağlamda hermenötiğe dair görüşleriyle dikkat çeken ve hermenötik konusunda önemli fikirler ileri sürmüş olan Schleiermacher, Dilthey ve Heidegger’in hermenötik kuramlarına da kısaca değinilmiştir. Bu çalışmada ayrıca Gadamer’in hermenötik ve felsefî hermenötikle ilgili görüşlerinin ana çizgilerini ortaya koymak suretiyle Gadamer’in felsefî hermenötiğinde öne çıkan temel kavramlar ele alınmıştır. Bu bağlamda Gadamer’in felsefî hermenötiğinin yapı taşları denilebilecek olan; yöntem ve hakikat, tecrübe, anlama, yorum, dil, oyun, sanat, tarih bilinci, ufuk, gelenek ve önyargı kavramları ise ayrı ayrı başlıklar halinde konu edinilmiştir.
by H.G. Gadamer is an important German thinker who has managed to attract his attention with his philosophical hermetic theory and his work "Wartheit und Methode" published in 1960. The evaluation of the new horizons that Gadamer has given information about the essence of the philosophical hermetic theory and from here to the move has brought him to hermetic is the main objective of this study. This study, which discussed the highlights of Gadamer's philosophical hermetic, first summarizes the historic process that the hermetic had passed from Hermes to Heidegger. In this context, the hermeneutic theories of Schleiermacher, Dilthey and Heidegger, who attracted their views on hermeneutics and presented important ideas on hermeneutics, are also briefly referred to. This study also discussed the fundamental concepts that appear in Gadamer's philosophical hermetics by revealing the main lines of Gadamer's views on hermetic and philosophical hermetics. In this context, the structures of the philosophical hermetic of Gadamer, which can be called the structures of the method and truth, experience, understanding, comment, language, game, art, historical consciousness, horizon, tradition and prejudice, are subjected in separate titles.
