Tıp ilminin gelişmesine paralel olarak hastalıkları iyileştirme, acıları dindirme ve sağlığı koruma amacı olan tedavi yöntemleri de gelişmekte ve her geçen gün bunlara yenileri eklenmektedir. Bu yöntemlerden biri de kaybedilen veya görevini yapamayan bir organın yerine canlı yahut ölü bir vericiden alınan sağlam ve aynı görevi üstlenecek bir organın nakledilmesi işlemiyle gerçekleşen organ naklidir. Bir tedavi yöntemi olması hasebiyle dini bakımdan organ nakli konusundaki tartışmalar bu yöntemin cevazından ziyada şartları üzerinde yoğunlaşmaktadır. Daha çok dinî inançlardan kaynaklanan bu tartışmaların oluşturduğu tereddütler ise organ bağışının ve naklinin başarısı önünde birer engel olarak görülmektedir. Dolayısıyla istenilen başarıya ulaşmada söz konusu tereddütlerin giderilmesi önem arz etmektir. Bu çalışmayla bazı tereddütlerin yersiz olduğu bazılarının ise gerçeklik payı olmakla birlikte giderilebileceği kanaati hasıl olmuştur. Ayrıca üreme organları ile yüz, kol ve bacak gibi organların naklindeki tartışmaların ise daha çok nakil sonrası durumdan kaynaklandığı sonucuna varılmıştır.

Debates on organ donation as a treatment modality from the religious perspective are concentrated on particularly its conditions rather than its religious legitimacy. Hesitations in consequences of these debates arising from mostly religious beliefs seems an obstacle to organ donation and its achievement. Therefore, it is important to remove hesitations in question to reach intended achievement. With the present study, such a conclusion that some of these hesitations are groundless while some of them are right but can be made up is reached. Another result is that hesitations in transplantation of face, arm and leg as well as genitals are mostly originated from the situation after the transplant surgeries.
