Abstract:

Mehmet Akif is a person who has an important place in the history of Turkish literature and thought. But unfortunately, there are very few who realize that he is not just a poet, but an Islamic sociologist and thinker. In the Islamic mind, the term jihad and drinking also have significant effects. They are concepts that influence the economic, political and social preferences and lives of Muslims. There is a lot of struggle over the meaning of fighting with the unbelievers, which is more advanced than the original meanings of these words, especially as the Islamic term, and has since been a series of disputes and writings. This text was taken in order to point out the opinion of Mehmet Akif on these topics.
