Sınırları aşan bir sorun olan çocuk istismarı, internet kullanımının yaygınlaşmasıyla, sanal ortamda da işlenen bir suç haline gelmiş ve suç literatüründe net bir tanımı bulunmayan bu suç çeşidi emniyet kayıtlarına “çevrimiçi çocuk istismarı” olarak geçmiştir. Sanal ortam, tüm yaş guruplarında olduğu üzere çocukların da mağdur olmasına neden olabilmektedir. İnternet, bir taraftan suç işleme amacıyla kullanılırken, diğer taraftan, güvenlik güçlerinin sanal ortamdaki denetimleriyle doğru orantılı olarak, suçların aydınlatılmasında da önemli bir fonksiyon üstlenmeye başlamıştır. Bu çalışmada, ulusal-uluslararası polis teşkilatlarının sınır tanımayan “çevrimiçi çocuk istismarı” suçunun aydınlatılmasındaki rolü, örnek olaylar çerçevesinde incelenmiştir. Çalışmada ailelerin ihmalleri, toplum tarafından doğru bilinen yanlışlar hakkında bilgi sunularak, çocukların davranışlarındaki değişimlerin aileler tarafından gözlemlenememesi vurgulanmış ve ailelerin, eğitimcilerin, toplumun suç karşısında dikkat etmesi gereken hususlar maddeler halinde sunulmuştur.
Child abuse, which is a problem beyond the limits, has become a crime committed in the virtual environment, with the spread of the use of the internet, and this kind of crime, which has not been clearly defined in the criminal literature, has passed into security records as "online child abuse". The virtual environment can cause children to be victims, as in all age groups. Internet, on the one hand, is used for the purposes of crime processing, and on the other hand, it has begun to play an important role in the lighting of crimes, just in proportion to the controls of the security forces in the virtual environment. In this study, the role of national-international police agencies in illuminating the unlimited crime of "online child abuse" was studied in the framework of examples of events. The study emphasizes the family’s disadvantages, providing information about the errors well-known by the society, not observing the changes in children’s behavior by the families, and subjects that families, educators, society should be careful against crime.

In this study, the role of national-international police organisations in illuminating the “online child abuse” offense is examined in the framework of case studies. In this study, it was emphasized that the changes in children's behaviours could not be observed by families by presenting information about the negligence of families, false facts by the society and the points that should be paid attention by families, educators, society in the face of crime are presented as items.
