Özet:

With the increase in the level of visibility in our country in recent years, it makes it compulsory to talk, think, and research about violence events, especially in schools, which are an alarming situation. According to this research, the teachers who work in the middle education stage in the rural area and the students who study in these schools have been attempted to determine the perceptions of violence through metaphors. This is the case with the students who are “wilded” because they are “wilded”. By giving the empty question forms containing their statements, participants were asked to fill out the empty question forms. The study group is composed of six, seven and eighth-class students who study in the Elazığ or Palu district and teachers who work in these schools. The research has been used by the methods of quality research. Metaphor is used as a data collection tool. The analysis of the data is carried out in the context of the content analysis. The answers that students and teachers gave in a semi-configured form were examined and a metafor list was created. The solutions are made on this list. The study found that opinions about student perceptions were gathered in more aggressive human, fear, and hard use topics, but opinions about the subject of addiction were less repeated. The opinions on the teachers’ perceptions were more aggressive in human, natural disasters and disappearances, and the opinions on the subject of harsh use and insult were less repeated.

In recent years, with the increase in the visibility level in our country, it is obligatory to talk, think and research on the violent events which are especially alarming in schools. With research in this direction, violence perceptions of the teachers working in primary and secondary schools in rural areas and students in these schools were tried to be determined through metaphors. In this context, students were asked to fill empty questionnaires of the participants by giving blank questionnaires including "Violence ............", "Because ........". The study group of the study consisted of the sixth, seventh and eighth grade students who were educated in the Palu district of Elazığ province and the teachers working in these schools. The research is based on qualitative research methods. Metaphor was used as data collection tool. The analysis of the data was conducted within the context of content analysis. The responses of students and teachers to the semi-structured form were examined and a metaforest list was created. The resolutions were made on this list. As a result of the research; it was seen that opinions on student perceptions were collected more aggressively on the themes of aggressive human, fear and intimidation while the views on addictive habitual contact were less repeated. Opinions on teacher perceptions were more aggressive in terms of people, natural disasters and disappearances, while opinions on the theme of abuse and insult were less frequent.
