Muhasebe meslek mensuplarının yeterlikleri ve muhasebe mesleğinin gelişimi çerçevesinde, muhasebe eğitiminin uluslararası alanda belirli bir kalite düzeyinde gerçekleştirilmesi ve yeknesaklığın sağlanabilmesi için Uluslararası Muhasebe Eğitimi Standartları Kurulu (IAESB) tarafından Uluslararası Eğitim Standartları (IES) yayınlanmıştır. Sekiz adet IES yayınlanmıştır. Çalışmada, ulusal kurumlar ve uygulamalar çerçevesinde söz konusu standartların içeriklerinin Türkiye’de ne denli geçerli oldukları tartışılmaktadır. Bu bağlamda Türkiye’de sekiz adet standarttan beş tanesinin tamamen geçerli olduğu, IES 2’nin ve IES 6’nın kısmen geçerli olduğu, IES 3’ün ise geçerli olmadığı değerlendirmesi yapılmıştır.
In the frame of accounting member of profession’s sufficiency and the development of accounting profession, International Education Standards (IES) were issued by International Accounting Education Standards Board (IAESB) in order to work up accounting education to an adequate quality level and provide uniformity. Eight IES were issued. In this study, in the frame of national institutions and applications, how the context of these standards are valid in Turkey is argued. In this sense, it is evaluated as five of the eight standards are completely valid while IES 2 and IES 6 is valid partially and IES 3 in case is not valid in Turkey.
