Abstract:

Classical Turkish poetry has taken its aesthetic principles from Islamic art. The classical poetry esthetics has also emerged in a certain form and meaning. The absence of the integrity of the subject, which is a characteristic of this poem, should not be an element of criticism. This characteristic is an important attribute of the classical Turkish poetry, which takes its source from the aesthetics of Islamic arts. The discrepancy of the poetic texts in terms of the subject is a result of the poetic reflection of the modular system found in the aesthetics of Islamic arts. The classical Turkish poetry has a text form that the Beethoven creates together. In this poem form, the poems represent small units meaningful for themselves. In this poetry tradition, if it is separated from the whole that any poetry belongs to from the poetry text, it will not lose anything from its vitality. Similarly, the modular system, which is common in Islamic arts, consists of meaningful small units coming together to form larger units. This form, which is common in the aesthetics of Islamic arts, was emphasized by the poets of the classical period with expressions such as "eş'âr-ı perîşân", "perîşân güftâr", "perîşân ebhâs", "elfâz-ı perîşân".
