Abstract:

The purpose of modern art is to write, paint and compose more intelligently than emotions. Italy is one of the first countries to think about in classical music counterbas literature.  Many works have been produced by Italian composers for contrast in modern times. The modern era is one of the very important periods in the context of the counterbas literature, but the counterbas works from the 20th century to the present day are not much known in our country. This research was conducted in order to identify these works, create a directory and contribute to counterbas training.   In this study, the question of what the Italian composers and works that wrote works for counterbase in the modern era were asked for answers; in this context, the source scanning method was used to determine the works. International publications have been scanned and the Internet resources have been exploited.   Of the 141 works written and accessible after 1900 the study was studied by grouping concerts, method/etut books, small-formed solo concerts and works accompanied by piano/orchestra. It has been determined that Italian composers’ counterbas works have contributed significantly to literature in terms of quantity and diversity, that the composers of the time have produced a large number of works and that these works are distributed in a broad perspective.
