Abstract:

Found by many currents and techniques, Joker Gökçebağ uses the industrial product object in its three-dimensional work. In their placement, object-space unity and perfectionist approach are always taken into account. The technical object that turns into metamorphosis in his works creates a favourite visual harmony that looks at him. Often it interferes with the shape of the object by cutting process. It is quite difficult for an object that does not lose its recognition with such an intervention but has substantially changed its function to return to the previous context. The prepared object is the state chosen by the artist of the technical object and designated as an art object. The name of the state the object has in the art is the prepared object. Therefore, in addition to its previous identity, the technical object which wins another second identity in the field of art becomes a ready object with transposition in art. The purpose of the article is to address the transformation of the technical object by determining whether or not the object is a ready object of any industrial product used as a material in art. Therefore, the use of the technical object of Joker Gökçebağ was observed in this context, the works were studied by doing literary research related to the artist.
