A person who spends much of his life on work is under intense stress throughout his work life. The employee who works within the organization, along with the work he does, relates to other people and tries to adapt to the organizational structure. The worker in this process enters a serious effort of harmony and thus creates stress on the worker. Low or high stress may have a negative impact on the performance of the worker. This study is aimed at determining the factors that affect the stress level of employees. The results of the research found that the stressing factors in employees were organizational factors (excessive workload, the nature of work, role conflict), physical factors (bullying, hot, cold, lack of lighting), social opportunities, organizational communication and fatigue. The survey forms prepared within the framework of the study were applied to 208 people working in the 31 small and medium-sized (KOBI) furniture and carpet enterprises operating in the province of Trabzon. In the assessment of the survey form, the explanatory factor analysis and the structural equality model were used. When the model results were studied, organizational factors and inter-business communication were determined to be effective on stress (p<0,05). As a result, it has been determined that the social facilities that workers in the forest products sector have and the levels of fatigue associated with the physical environment and workload are not seen as a source of organizational stress.
