Ülkü Mecmuası, Erken Cumhuriyet Döneminde Halkevleri bünyesinde 1933-1950 yılları arasında çıkarılan ve içerisinde toplumsal ve kültürel anlamda pek çok makaleyi barındıran süreli bir yayın olarak bu çalışmaya konu olmuştur. Halkevlerinin merkez yayın organı niteliğinde çıkartılan Ülkü dergisi, dönemin hâkim anlayışına paralel olarak kurulan Halkevlerinin amaçlarını desteklemek ve hayata geçirilmeye çalışılan inkılap hareketlerinin fikri temellerini yaygınlaştırmak adına da önemlidir. Çalışmanın amacı Ülkü Mecmuasındaki müzik yazılarını derlemek ve dönemin önde gelen stratejik yaygın eğitim kurumları olan halkevlerinin işlevini ve o dönem hayata geçirilmeye çalışılan müzik politikalarının temel yapısını kavramaktır. Bu doğrultuda Ülkü Mecmuasında yer alan yazılar incelenmiş olup, dergideki müzik yazıları konu ve dönemlerine göre tasniflenmiştir. Araştırmaya konu olarak ise toplam 272 sayı incelenmiş olup, söz konusu yazılar bibliyografik olarak derlenmiştir. Araştırmada veri toplama yöntemi olarak doküman incelemesi kullanılmış olup verilerin analiz aşamasında betimsel bir yaklaşım izlenmiştir. Bu çalışma, Ülkü Mecmuasını müzik yazıları bağlamında ele alan ilk çalışma olması sebebiyle önem taşımaktadır. Çalışmanın sonucunda Halkevleri bünyesinde Ankara Halkevinin çıkardığı Ülkü Mecmuasının, dönemin ideolojisine paralel olarak, hayata geçirilmeye çalışılan müzik inkılabının halka benimsetilmesi amacıyla, tek partili dönemin önemli propaganda araçlarından birisi olduğu ve bu bağlamda yazı kaleme alan yazarların müzik politikalarının uygulanmasında rejimin sesi olduğu söylenebilir.
The National Mecca was the subject of this work as a long-term publication that was published in the People's Republics in the early Republics between 1933 and 1950 and contains many articles in social and cultural terms. The country magazine, which is the central publication body of its peoples, is also important to support the objectives of its peoples established parallel to the judge's understanding of the period and to spread the ideological foundations of the incrusting movements attempted to be implemented. The aim of the study is to compile the music writings in the Country Mecca and to understand the function of the public institutions, the leading strategic broad education institutions of the period, and the basic structure of the music policies that were attempted to be implemented in that period. In this direction, the texts in the Country Mecmuya have been studied, and the music in the magazine has been classified according to the subject and periods. The study has a total of 272 numbers, and the articles are compiled in a bibliographic form. The study used document review as a method of data collection and a visual approach was followed in the analysis stage of the data. This work is important because it is the first work that deals with the country's Mecmuasi in the context of music writings. As a result of the study, the National Mecca issued by the People's Republic of Ankara, parallel to the ideology of the period, with the aim of adopting the public of the music incrust, is one of the important propaganda tools of the one-party period, and in this context the writers who are writing can be the voice of the regime in the implementation of the music policies.
Ülkü Journal has been the subject of the present study as a periodical journal, which was published within context of the People’s Houses between the years 1933 and 1950 in the Early Republic Era, which included a variety of articles in social and cultural context. Ülkü Journal, which was published as the central publication of the People’s Houses, was of due importance in order to support the ideals of the People’s Houses, which had been established in line with the dominant political ideology of the era, and to spread the ideological basis of the reforms which were aimed to be implemented. The aim of the present study; is to compile the music writings of Ülkü Journal, and to attain an insight into the functions of the People’s Houses, which had become the prominent strategic informal education institutions, and into the fundamental structure of the musical policies, which were tried to be implemented in the era. For attaining this purpose, the articles within Ülkü Journal were evaluated and the music writings which were published in the Journal were classified with regard to their subject matter and publication chronologies. Total 272 volumes were evaluated within the scope of the study; the articles at issue were compiled in a bibliographic order. In the study, document evaluation was utilized as the data collection method; and a rather descriptive approached was maintained through the data analysis stage. The present study is of due importance on the grounds that it is the first study to address Ülkü Journal in terms of its music writings. In conclusion, it can be stated that Ülkü Journal, which was published by Ankara People’s House within the general scope of People’s Houses, was one of the propaganda tools of the single party era in order to infuse the music reform, which was aimed to be implemented, into the public in parallel with the dominant political ideology of the era, and that in this context, the writers, who published their articles within the music writings functioned as the voice of the regime in the implementation of the music policies.
