This study aimed at examining the “Transformational Leadership and Transactional Leadership Behaviors of Choir Conductors in Turkey” and determining various kinds of leadership behaviors the conductors adopted. Descriptive survey model was employed to receive responses of the conductors. . The questionnaire technique was used for data collection and utilized the “Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire 5x-‐short (MLQ)” ( Bass Bass and Avolio, 1995). A total of 215 choir conductors participated in the study and recorded *Bu çalışma, Doç. These participant conductors included 118 females and 97 males. Data were analyzed by the SPSS 20.0 (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) software program and Paired-‐Samples t-‐Test. According to the research findings; it was revealed that the choir conductors in Turkey adopt transformational leadership behaviors.
