Grafik tasarım, dünyanın kültürel görsel dokusunu oluşturmada, toplumu etkilemede ve istediği doğrultuda yönlendirmede önemli bir rol oynamaktadır. 21.yy’da gözle görünür bir biçimde kaynakların azalması, çevresel olumsuz faktörlerle ekolojik dengenin bozulması, hastalıklar vs. gibi toplumu derinden etkileyen sorunlar, grafik tasarımcıları, sosyal sorumluluk alanında tasarım çalışmalarına yönlendirmiştir. Araştırma’nın amacı, etkili bir iletişim aracı olan Grafik tasarım’ın, sosyal sorumluk alanında toplumu bilinçlenmedeki rolünü ve değişimi getirici gücünü literatür taraması ile ortaya koymaktır.
Graphic design plays an important role in creating the world’s cultural visual texture, influencing society and guiding it in the direction it wants. In the 21st century, the reduction of resources in a visible way, the deterioration of ecological balance with environmental negative factors, problems that deeply affect society, such as diseases, etc., directed graphic designers to the design work in the field of social responsibility. The purpose of the research is to reveal the role of graphic design, which is an effective means of communication, in the field of social responsibility in society awareness and the transformative power by literary scan.
