The state of alienation, which has some significant impact on work conditions, societal relationships and indivuals’personal lives, is expected to be, strongly, influenced by individuals’ personality traits. This study aims to investigate the relationship between five factor personality traits and alienation in Antalya-Kemer region’s five-star hotels. For this purpose; we used a structured questionnaire to collect data from 539 employees of 18 five-star hotels, who work in reception, service, kitchen, and housekeeping departments.Analyses results revealed some significant relationships between five factor personality traits and certain dimensions of alienation
