Depending upon the thought that the developments appearing in a field of science cannot be isolated from its historical backgrounds entirely, the science can be defined as a dynamic process. In this context, assessed from its historical background, it can be revealed that the term „work‟ have been exposed to numerous changes sociologically. To put in another way, the transformation of labour to its current state is shaped by historical turning points such as agrarian revolution which is the indication of humans life from nomadic to stable one initially, the independence of Europea from dogmatic and stereotyped impacts of church via the movement of Renaissance and Reformation Period which results in also the French Revolution and the other Revolutions like Industrialization and Information. All these events shape not only the labour economics and industrial relations as a field of science but also the nature of the work itself. In the study, the historical events from agrarian to information revolution that results in the appearance of labour will be analyzed within the context of cause and effect relationship
