Abstract:

The activities of health institutions operate efficiently without disturbing is closely related to stockholding policy. Significant improvement in management of inventory and material was provided by health transformation program in our country.. Inventories effects the efficiency and competitiveness of health care organizations because inventories have a significant part in total assets in the hospital. In these stocks, medicine supplies and drugs are those stocks that are requirred to be adressed priority due to their effect on patient life and overall cost. In this study, medicine supplies and drugs stocks are evaluated with stock control techniques according to ABC and VED analyses in a hospital in Isparta. As a result of these analysis, stocks which have significant effect on cost and vital for patients and also required primarily monitorong can be determined in hospital
