The purpose of this study is to examine how the institutions of market oriented business system reached the potential to be implemented in Turkey. Under what circumstances those policies were adopted and applied and what sort of international, national, field and actor based conditions were effective in their adoption was the main questions to be answered. The research is based on the theoretical frame of new institutional and macro institutional theory. This descriptive and qualitative study is conducted over the discourses and reports of big business organizations and their associations, and critical books and articles on the issue. The result of this study indicate that the conditions which drove Turkey in this period to implement structural transformations were many intertwined exogenous, endogenous and other commercial factors. The deterioriation of conditions for capital accumulation in domestic market led big organization to support this institutional transformation
