Abstract:

In 1985, an inquiry was performed between 500 mothers who just gave birth in order to determi-ne their knowledge about baby-care and fee-ding in Bursa district Five years later, the same inquiry was performed again between 500 rnot-hers who were just after birth, to determine an improvement in this period. in the second inquiryf it is found that rnothers were more'educated than the ones in the first inquiry but there was no significant difference between their knowledge on baby-care and feeding. it is conciuded that more effort have to be used to inçrease the mothers' knowledge about baby care and feeding.
