Abstract:

Kidnapping is an old Turkish tradition in the family life. İn this article I have collected ali the different aspects, causes and prevention of this tradition. Because there are different processes in the different geographical areas ofTurkey. Now it has been actual nowadays because of the economical crises, deu to the much expences of wedding caremony. Kidnapping is occuring for the desire of marriage. Thats why it is not a seriou sevent. At the same time, stili it is a deviance. The most important function of this tradition is that the individual select of the sides. Capturing by force of the girl is global iz İng by migration, the tradition is going to the meiropolitan areas and foreign countries.
