Abstract:

This research has been planned with objective of evaluating the subjective well-being of families. 116 married women and their husbands who were amployed in public sector, in city of Tokat, were taken to form the subjects of the study and they ali together totaled 232 persons. Data were collected by using interview technique. İn order to determine differences ofwiwes and husbands evaluated on subjective well-being have been used T-Test and Chisquare Test according to sex variable.Results showed that men find it more interesting, relaxed and not lonely to life than women. Women find it more wortwhile to life than men.Husbands and wives evaluates their life good. İt find that some views of husbands and wives on life balance (affect balance) is related to sex variable. Findings can be useful prapere applied programme towards improving well-being and subjective well-being of families.
