Abstract:

Female Students’ Problems Who Study In General Hıgh SchoolsStudents who study in general high schools and are in their adolescence face with certain problems like; taking alcohol, narcotic substance, suicide, harm themselves, early sexual experience, sexual exploiting, and violence. In this study, the problems that female students who study in general high schools face with will be examined. 530 students form the sampling of this study, and questionnaire technique is used in this study. The findings are interpreted in the dimension of family situation, individual situation, the situation of schools, and the situation of opposite sex, sexual situation, using substances, and psychological situations. The results of the study indicate that female students who study at secondary schools in Kayseri sometimes think about running away from home due to the argument that they have with their parents but could not do it. They could not communicate with their teachers well, starting to have boyfriends in the eight grade, they get sexual information from their mothers and written documents, and they get annoyed mostly from sexual harassment. It is proved that they have worried about the future.
