Abstract:

The Effects of Parental Lost on ChildrenDeath is an inevitable phenomenon in the lives of individuals. Every person exposures death in any stage of life. Especially in family, parental loss take place as an important life event. In this context, the meaning of parental lost and how to cope with grief experiences becomes a challenge for children. In this study, firstly the children’s perception of death according to different developmental stages will be presented. Then, by explaining the impact of parental lost on children, how to deal with children who lost his/her parents will be emphasized.
