Courts break off their judicial activities for 42 days annually for the period of June 20th to August 31th in Turkey due to the judicial vacation. As a prohibition of working is ruled by law, no trails are heard in this period of the year except for some urgent works being handled by vacation judges and prosecutors. Legal terms are extended to post vacation if the last day of these terms to fall on this period.
