Following the introduction of individual application on 23/10/2012, the Turkish Constitutional Court gained a very respectable position as a result of judgments rendered. However, the Court is under huge workload since the number of individual applications increased gradually over the years. In order to cope with intensive workload, the Court, on the one hand, has to take necessary measures to reduce the number of individual applications, while, on the other hand, developing its decision- making capacity as soon as possible.In this study, first of all, the Court’s current workload has been analised and evaluated, and then the measures implemented by the Court to cope with the workload has been examined. Finaly, it has been discussed which additional mechanisms should be introduced to tackle with the workload problem
