Abstract:

ÖZET In this promotional post, the book "Mythological Elements in Divan Poetry, The Mythology of Persons" will be presented by Dursun Ali Tökel as a Doctoral Thesis. In this work, the mythological persons in the Divan poem have been prepared by applying to the mythological rivayetier of the ancient nations almost bütün. This work, which is undergoing a long and detailed analysis of the topics of mythology, mythology and art, mythology and literature, is also the first in its field. ABSTRACT This review aims at introducing the book titled "The Mylhological ElemenIs in Diwan Poeıry. Mythology of Persons", which is originally a doctoral dissertation presented by Dursun Ali Tökel. In this work, the mythological figures are introduced with reference to the aeeounts and legends of almost all aneient peoples. In the Introductory Chapter, general infonnation on mythology is given followed by a detailed comparative analysis of subjects such as "Mythology and Art" and "Mythology and Literature" under separate sub-chapters. This work can be considered the first extensive study in its field.
