Abstract:

Ouml;ZET Muuml;tareke sonrası İtilaf Devletleri işgallerine karşı Tuuml;rk halkı muuml;dafa-i huLJk cemiyetleri etrafında toplanarak muuml;cadeleye girişirken, Sultan Vahdettin ve O'nun teşkil ettiği huuml;kuuml;metler ouml;zellikle Damat Ferit Huuml;kuuml;metleri kurtuluşu İngilizlere kayıtsız şartsız teslim olmakta gouml;ruuml;yoriardJ. Padişah ve huuml;kuuml;metin bu tutumunun halkı giderek youml;netimden uzaklaştırdığı ve Mustafa Kemal Paşa ouml;nd~rliğindeki milli harekete yaklaştırdığını gouml;ren Veliaht Abduuml;lmecit Efendi hanedanın ve devletin geleceğinin tehlikede olduğunu souml;yleyerek Sultan Vahdettin'i ve Damat Ferit Paşa'yı accedil;ıkccedil;a tenkit etmeye başladı. Abduuml;lmecit Efendi, Vahdettin'e gouml;nderdiği mektuplarda hayati gelişmeler karşısında huuml;kuuml;metlerin yetersiz kaldığından bahsetmekte ve Meclis-i Mebusan'ın bir an ouml;nce toplanması, milletin itimadına sahip bir huuml;kuuml;metin kurulması ve Anadolu'da kurulan cemiyetıerin isteklerinden elverişli olanların yerine getirilmesi gibi tavsiyelerde bulunmakta idi. Abduuml;lmecit Efendi'nin bu duuml;şuuml;nce ve hareketleri İngiliz Yuuml;ksek Komiserliği'nin ve Damat Ferit Paşa'nın tepkisini ccedil;ekmiş, ouml;nce sıkı takip edilmesine daha sonra da gouml;z hapsine alınmasına neden olmuştu. nbsp; ABSTRACT While Turkish people struggled around the national societes to defend our country against the occupations of Entente Pawers.
