Abstract:

Ouml;zet nbsp; Bu ccedil;alışmada, sosyo-kuuml;ltuuml;rel ve ekonomik bakımından oldukccedil;a ouml;nem taşıyan doğal mevsim kavramının ilkouml;ğretim ve ortaouml;ğretim programlarındaki yeri ve ouml;nemi uuml;zerinde durulmaya ccedil;alışılmıştır. İnsan yaşamı ve etkinliklerini şekillendiren doğal mevsim kavramının bilinen ouml;nemine karşılık, ne coğrafya ouml;ğretim programlarında ne de ilgili ders kitaplarında souml;z konusu kavrama yer verilmediği gouml;ruuml;lmektedir. Bunun da ouml;tesinde, ouml;ğretmenlerin pek ccedil;oğunun iklim ve matematiksel mevsim konularının işlenişi sırasında doğal mevsim hakkında bilgi vermemeleri, kavramın ouml;ğrenilmesini geciktirerek guuml;ccedil;leştirmektedir. Nitekim yuuml;ksek ouml;ğretimde okuyan ouml;ğrencilerle yapılan muuml;lakat ve anketlerde, ouml;ğrencilerin birccedil;oğunun doğal mevsimi algılamakta guuml;ccedil;luuml;k ccedil;ektikleri tespit edilmiştir. Dolayısıyla bu ccedil;alışmanın amacı, insan yaşamı ve uygulamaları iccedil;in son derece ouml;nem taşıyan doğal mevsim kavramının, ouml;ğretim programlarındaki gerekliliğini ortaya koymak ve bu alanda yapılacak ouml;ğrenme-ouml;ğretme suuml;reccedil;lerine katkıda bulunmaktır. nbsp;nbsp; nbsp; Anahtar kelimeler : Doğal mevsim, matematiksel mevsim, ouml;ğrenme, ouml;ğretme, nbsp; nbsp; Abstract This study concerned with the place and importance of natural season concept in elementery and secondary education which has social, cultural and economical importance. Although, ıt is known that the concept of geography shapes the human life and his activities this concept has not been given a place neither in geography education programs nor in lesson books. Moreover, when many of teachers are teaching their students the topic of mathematical season and climate they do not give information about natural season. For this reason, the education of natural season concept is becoming more difficult day by day. Besides, many students could not understand the natural season is seen in the polls which weer taken among university students. So, the aims of this study are to emphosize the necessity of natural season concept in educations programs which has a special importance for human life and his activities and to help the learning and teaching progression which are in this field. nbsp; Keywords: Natural season, mathematical season, learning, teaching.
