Tuuml;rk-İslam hacirc;kimiyetinin sağlanmasından sonra bouml;lgede, dinicirc; ve sosyal youml;nden buuml;yuuml;k gelişme yaşanmıştır. Osmanlı hacirc;kimiyetine girmesinde İdris-i Bitlisicirc;rsquo;nin buuml;yuuml;k roluuml; olmuştur. Doğuda bulunan Safevicirc; Devletirsquo;nin yayılmacı politikasına karşı tahkim edilen şehir, Osmanlı idaresine sadık olup bouml;lgede etkili yerel aşiret ve kabilelerin idaresine verilmiş ve onlara huuml;kuuml;met statuuml;suuml; altında farklı bir idare sistemi uygulanmıştır. Bu ccedil;alışmada, Bitlis sancağının idaricirc; yapısı ile bouml;lgede gouml;rev yapmış hanedanlar hakkında bilgiler verilmiştir. Anahtar kelimeler; Bitlis, Van Gouml;luuml; havzası, sancak, huuml;kuuml;met sancaklar, XVIII. yuuml;zyıl. nbsp; ABSTRACT Bitlis is one of the early conquered places by Muslim Arabs and later Turks in Anatolia. After the Turkish-Islam dominance, significant religious and social developments took place in the city. İdris Bitlisi played an important role in order to put the city under the rule of Ottomans. Fortified against the imperial Safevids who are located in the east, the city always remained faithful to Ottomans and given under the rule of effective tribes and clans in the region by applying a different government system.
