Ouml;Z XVI. yuuml;zyıl başlarında Osmanlı Devletirsquo;nin idaresine giren Erzincan ve ccedil;evresi, idari yapılanma olarak başlangıccedil;ta Erzincan-Bayburt Beylerbeyliğirsquo;ne bağlanmıştır. Daha sonra Erzurum Beylerbeyliğirsquo;nin kurulmasında sonra Paşa Sancağırsquo;na dacirc;hil edilerek Erzurum valilerinin idaresine verilmiştir. Bu ccedil;alışmada Cafer Beyrsquo;in hazırlamış olduğu avarız defteri esas alınarak Erzincan şehri ile bağlı kouml;ylerin durumu incelenmiştir. Erzincan kazası bu douml;nemde Guuml;ney ve Kuzey Erzincan Nahiyeleri olmak uuml;zere iki nahiyeden ibarettir. Şehrin sosyal ve ekonomik yapısı, askeri gouml;revlileri, dini gouml;revlileri ve esnaf ve sanatkacirc;rlar hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Şehrin mahallelerinin durumu, bağlı kouml;ylerin tarımsal uuml;retimi ve mahsulleri de değerlendirmeye tabi tutulmuştur. Anahtar Souml;zcuuml;kler: Erzincan, Erzurum, Avarız, Cafer Bey, XVII. yuuml;zyıl, Doğu Anadolu. nbsp; ABSTRACT At the beginning of 16th century, Erzincan and the surrounding area entered to administration of the Ottoman Empire, initially as administrative structure has been linked to Begler-begis Erzincan and Bayburt. Then, after being established Begler-begis Erzurum, it had been given to administration of the Erzurum governors by being included in the Pasha sandjak. In this study, it was investigated status of Erzincan city and its villages based on awarid registers prepared by Cafer Beg. City consists of two nahiyes named South and North Erzincan. The knowledge regarding Social and economic structure of the city, military officials, religious workers and craftsmen and artisans were given. It was taken to evaluate Status of the city's neighborhoods, crops and agricultural production of villages connected with it.
