Abstract:

Ouml;zet: Buuml;yuuml;k Gouml;l, Orta Karadeniz Bouml;luuml;muuml;rsquo;nde, Tokat ilinin Reşadiye ilccedil;esine bağlı Gouml;lluuml;kouml;y sınırları iccedil;erisinde yer almaktadır. Gouml;l, ilccedil;e merkezinin 10 km doğusunda bulunmaktadır. Buuml;yuuml;k Gouml;lrsquo;uuml;n oluşumunda birden fazla faktouml;r etkili olmuştur. Nitekim, gouml;l aynı adlı senklinal iccedil;erisinde yer almaktadır. Yani, gouml;l tektonik kouml;kenli bir ccedil;ukurlukta bulunmaktadır. Bu arada gouml;luuml;n oluşumunun yer altı su tablası ile de ilişkili olduğu duuml;şuuml;nuuml;lmektedir. Yuuml;zouml;lccedil;uuml;muuml; 112 500 m 2 olan gouml;l, deniz seviyesinden 1045 m yuuml;kseltide bulunmaktadır. Gouml;l yaklaşık dairevi olup, orta kesiminde ccedil;apı 430 mrsquo;dir. En derin yeri 7 m olup, suları tatlı olan gouml;lde balık yaşamaktadır. Yaban ouml;rdeklerinin de mekanı olan gouml;l, gouml;ccedil;men kuşlara durak yeri gouml;revi de yapmaktadır. Gouml;luuml;n sığ kesimlerini kaplayan kamışlardan sadece yeşilken hayvan yemi olarak yararlanılmaktadır. Gouml;luuml;n etrafındaki az eğimli sahalar, doğal bitki ouml;rtuuml;suuml; tahrip edilerek tarım alanı haline douml;nuuml;ştuuml;ruuml;lmuuml;ştuuml;r. Buna rağmen, başta doğusu olmak uuml;zere, ccedil;evresi sarıccedil;am ormanları ile kaplı bulunmaktadır. Buuml;yuuml;k Gouml;l ve ccedil;evresi barındırdığı doğal guuml;zellikleri ile bir turistik ccedil;ekiciliğe de sahiptir. Buuml;yuuml;k Gouml;lrsquo;de kirlilik henuuml;z ciddi bir sorun oluşturmamaktadır. Fakat, gouml;l alanı, yakın geccedil;mişte yapılan muuml;dahaleler sonucu daralmıştır. Nitekim 1961 yılında gouml;luuml;n guuml;neybatı ucunda, daha guuml;neydeki Sofuoğlu Mahallesi ve Muratkaya Mezraasırsquo;na ait tarım alanlarının sulanması iccedil;in yapay bir ayak accedil;ılmıştır. Bu olay sonucu gouml;luuml;n seviyesi yaklaşık 5 m duuml;şerken, alanı da ouml;nemli ouml;lccedil;uuml;de kuuml;ccedil;uuml;lmuuml;ştuuml;r. Gouml;le ayak accedil;ılmasından sonra gouml;le ait karalaşan kısımlar tarım alanı haline douml;nuuml;ştuuml;ruuml;lmuuml;ştuuml;r. Abstract Buuml;yuuml;k Lake is situated in the Middle-Black Sea Region within the borders of Reşadiye, which is a county of Tokat. The lake is 10 km far from the town center in the east of Reşadiye. The formation of Buuml;yuuml;k Lake is caused by several factors. Therefore the lake is located in the synclinale in the same name. In other words, the lake is located in the hollow with a tectonic origin. At the same time, it is argued that there is a relationship between the formation of the lake and underground water table. The total area of the lake is 112 500 m 2 and it is situated 1045 m above the sea level. It has a roughly circular shape with a diameter of 430 m in the central area. The deepest part of the lake is 7 m. Due to having freshwater , it accommodates fish. The lake also serves as an area where mallards live and migratory birds often visit. Reeds covering the shallow places of the lake are used as animal feed only when they are green. The less inclined areas surrounding the lake have been transformed into agricultural area by destroying the vegetation. In spite of this, it is surrounded by scotch pine (Pinus silvestris) forests, especially its east side. Buuml;yuuml;k Lake and its surrounding with its natural beauties have a significiant potential for tourism. Pollution has not become a serious problem of Buuml;yuuml;k Lake yet. Nevertheless, the area of the lake has become narrow due to the interferences in the recent years. For example, an artificial foot was built in the southwest of the lake for irrigation of the agricultural field in Sofuoğlu and Muratkaya quarters. As a result of the level of the lake was reduced to below 5 m, and its area get also highly small.
