Fâtımîlerin yıkılmasını müteakip Eyyûbîlerin hâkimiyeti ele geçirmesiyle birlikte Mısır’da İsmaîlî Hilâfetin yerini, Sünnî Abbâsî Hilâfetin bir parçası ve savunucusu olan Eyyûbî devleti aldı. Bu değişim, Eyyûbîler tarafından himâye edilen Sünnîliğin toplumsal tabanını genişletmesi de dâhil sosyal ve siyasal alanlarda bir sürü gelişmeyi beraberinde getirdi. Bu gelişmelerin önemli bir bölümü ise Mısır’ın resmî eğitim sisteminde yaşandı. Mısır’da Sünnîliğin yayılmasını ve medreselerin yaygınlaşmasını sağlayan bu dönüşümde İranlı âlimlerin özel bir rolü bulunmaktadır. Bu alimlerin Mısır’daki eğitim sistemini etkilemesiyle, Eşarî kelâmın yayılması gibi bir takım ictimaî ve fikrî değişimler meydana geldi ve Sünnî geleneği savunan seçkin bir sınıf yetişti. Yaklaşık iki asır süren Fâtımî hâkimiyetinden sonra ortaya çıkan bu seçkin sınıf, Sünnî toplumun ihtiyaçlarını gidermede önemli bir rol oynadı.
In the aftermath of the destruction of the Fatimians, the Eyyubis took over the rule in Egypt the place of the Islamic Hilâfetin, a part of the Sunni Abbâshi Hilâfetin and the Eyyubis State, which was the defendant. This change brought many developments in the social and political fields, including the expansion of the social base of the Sunnity, which was protected by the Eyyubis. A significant part of these developments occurred in the official education system of Egypt. In this transformation, which enables the spread of Sunnah and the spread of medreses in Egypt, the Iranian allies have a special role. With the influence of these scientists on the educational system in Egypt, a series of intellectual and intellectual changes, such as the spread of the Asharic word, occurred and a distinguished class that defended the Sunni tradition was raised. This distinguished class, which emerged after almost two centuries of Fatima rule, played an important role in addressing the needs of the Sunni society.
