So many results that aren't mine?
References in many bibliographies are sometimes referred to as "Surname, I", so the citations of academics whose Surname and initials are the same may occasionally interfere. This problem is often the case with citation indexes all over the world.

Abstract:

Abstract:

The non-Muslim communities living under the roof of the Ottoman State, where the rules of Islamic law are applied, have found the possibility of protecting their beliefs and cultures for centuries. Thanks to this freedom of faith that the Ottoman State has recognized to the non-Muslims, Christian Armenian communities have built a church in Ayıntab, the proportion of their population. Especially after the Tanzimat and Islahat Ferman declared in the 19th century, there has been a serious increase in the number of religious and social structures belonging to the non-Muslim religion. In this context, the study will provide information about the Surp Asdvadzadzin (Saint Mary) Church, built in Ayıntab, a city where close relations with non-Muslims within the country’s borders have been experienced throughout history. The church, which was built in the Tepebaşı district of Ayıntab, has been transformed into a prison for a while because the community has not remained, and then has been converted into a mosque, and today it continues to exist as the Salvation Cami. In this context, the Prime Minister's Ottoman archives and provinces, which are an indispensable weight for the city's historical work, as well as the works written in Armenian and English and the writings we can find in the church, will be attempted to reveal the history and architecture of the church.

Abstract:

Non-Muslim communities living under the rule of Ottoman Empire, where the Islamic rules of law were enforced, had preserved their own faith and culture for centuries. Thanks to this freedom of belief granted to non-Muslims by the Ottoman Empire, Christian Armenian communities built churches in Ayıntab in proportion to their population. Especially after the declaration of Edict of Gülhane and Imperial Edict of Reform in 19th century, there was a considerable amount of increase in the number of religious and social structures belonging to the non-Muslim subjects. In this study, information will be given about the Surp Asdvadzadzin (Saint Mary) Church built in Ayıntab, where intense relations with non-Muslims within the borders of the country have been experienced throughout history. The church, which was built in the Tepebaşı Neighborhood of Ayıntab and turned into a prison for a while and then a mosque due to the lack of Armenian congregation. Surp Asdvadzadzin (Saint Mary) Church still continues to exist as the Kurtuluş Mosque today. In this context, we will try to present the history and architecture of the church in the light of Prime Ministry Ottoman Archieves and Provincial Annuals, which are indispensable for urban history studies, along with works that are written in Armenian and English and the inscriptions that were detected in the church.
