Abstract:

Today, tourist guidance has become one of the indispensable dynamics of the tourism industry. Tourist guides have an important role in ensuring the sustainability of the increase in the number of visitors arriving in Turkey in recent years, especially when tourist activities have increased. In the study, the aim of the "Tourist Guidance Association" is to develop solutions by identifying what the thoughts and perceptions of the professional tourist guides that are working within the "Tourist Guidance Association" are in the direction of the activities of escape guidelines. For this purpose, the semi-configured conversation technique has been obtained by e-mail data from twenty-three tourist guides. The study found that professional tourist guides were affected negatively from a professional point of view (unemployment, professional reputation) and from a destination point of view (fake promotion). As a result of the failure to find the end of the fake guidance activities, the lack of audits was emphasized by the participants. At the end of the study, there were also suggestions for a solution to the prevention of the escape guidance activities.
