Abstract:

This study is on the subject of the development of a success test to measure the achievements of students studying in the departments of universities such as Computer, Electrical-Electronics, Software, Mekatronic Engineering and the validity and reliability of this measurement tool developed. At the first stage of the study, a list of achievements was prepared by Manisa Celal Bayar University (MCBÜ), Okan University and Maltepe University, taking into account the common topics given under the course of Logic Design in the Department of Computer Engineering, Mekatronic and Electrical-Electronic Engineering. In order to cover each gain in this list, a measurement tool with open end questions has been created, displayed on the indication table which questions respond to which achievements. A rubric has been prepared to evaluate the measurement tool in a neutral way. The necessary updates were made with the judgment of six specialists from different universities and departments in total. The results of the scope validity study conducted with field experts show that the scope validity rate of the measurement tool is 0.84. The prepared measurement tool was applied to 88 students who were successful taking this course in different universities in the previous semester/year and determined according to the principle of volunteering. To be able to calculate the reliability of the measurement tool, the answers of the randomly selected 10 students were assessed by two field experts, according to the specified section. Spearman's rho test results show that both the individual and the aggregate of each substance correlation values are statistically meaningful. As a result, with this study, a valid and reliable measurement tool for the course of Logic Design, which consists of 15 open end questions, has been awarded the quote.
