Abstract:

In this study, the teachers and students’ opinions were taken on the size of the achievements of the primary school music lesson curriculum in order to reveal the professional qualification levels of the class teacher and class teacher candidates in the music field.  The research work group is composed of 2017-2018 academic year Gazi University and Hacettepe University Class Education Anabilim Division with 50 class teachers candidates who are trained in Ankara's Çankaya District with 50 class teachers. Study, primary school 1,2,3 and 4th class music courses are limited to the subject and achievements of the curriculum. The research is in the general scan model and is an imaginary study. In the study, the triple likert scale prepared by the researcher for the identification of the views on the qualifications of class teachers and class teachers candidates for the music lesson curriculum was applied, the obtained data wereined in statistical processing using the SPSS program and the Mann-Whitney U tests were used to compare the results with an independent t-test. It is important for the study to identify the qualifications and deficiencies of teachers and teachers candidates, to identify the measures to be taken in this regard and to present recommendations. The study found that class teachers with experience in the teaching and implementation of subjects and achievements were more insufficient than class teachers candidates, and that the universities’ music lesson curriculum outcomes did not meet some subjects and achievements in the MEB Music lesson curriculum.
