Abstract:

Bu araştırmanın amacı Güzel Sanatlar Liselerinde (GSL) görev yapan müzik alan öğretmenlerinin covid-19 pandemisi sürecinde verilen uzaktan eğitim hakkındaki görüşlerinin belirlenmesidir. Araştırma verileri 2020-2021 eğitim-öğretim yılı bahar yarıyılında Erzurum Raci Alkır GSL ve Elazığ Kaya Karakaya GSL Müzik Bölümlerinde görev yapan 11 müzik öğretmeninden elde edilmiştir. Veriler yüz yüze görüşme şeklinde elde edilmiş olup, görüşmeler esnasında ses kaydı yapılmış ve kayıtlar deşifre edilerek içerik analizine uygun hale getirilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda, GSL müzik alan öğretmenlerinin tamamının uzaktan eğitimle ders verdikleri ve bu dersleri evden yürüttükleri, uzaktan eğitime yönelik bir eğitim almadıkları tespit edilmiştir. Öğretmenler ve öğrenciler özellikle teknoloji ve internet kaynaklı sorunlar yaşamışlardır. Ayrıca, yaşanan sorunlara bağlı olarak öğrencilerin motivasyonlarının düşük olduğu, kırsal kesimdeki öğrencilerin uzaktan eğitime erişemedikleri belirlenmiştir. Öğretmenler teorik olmayan derslerin uzaktan eğitime uygun olmadığını, pandemi sonrasında harmanlanmış (hibrit) eğitime geçilebileceğini ve böyle bir durumda teorik derslerin uzaktan eğitime uygun olduğunu düşünmektedirler.

Views Of Fine Arts High School Music Teachers On Distance Education During The Covid-19 Pandemic

Abstract:

The purpose of this study is to determine the views of music teachers working in the Fine Arts High Schools (FAHS) about distance education at the Covid-19 pandemic period. The data of the study were collected in the 2020-2021 spring semester from 11 music teachers who work in Erzurum Raci Alkır FAHS and Elazığ Kaya Karakaya FAHS Music Departments. The data were obtained by face-to-face interviews. Audio recordings were made during the interviews. The recordings were deciphered and made suitable for content analysis. As a result of the research, it was determined that all of the FAHS music teachers gave distance education and conducted their lessons from home. They did not receive any training for distance education. Teachers and students have experienced especially technology and internet-related problems. In addition, it was determined that the motivation of the students was low due to the problems experienced and that the students in the rural areas could not access distance education.
