Bu çalışma, muhasebe meslek mensuplarının Covid-19 pandemisinden etkilenme düzeylerini ölçmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Bu amaçla Sivas Serbest Muhasebeci Mali Müşavirler Odası’na kayıtlı 139 meslek mensubuna anket uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler istatistiksel olarak değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda, meslek mensuplarının salgınla birlikte ortaya çıkan uzaktan çalışma koşullarının mükelleflerle olan iletişim ve ilişkilerini olumsuz etkilediğini ve bu durumun iş streslerini artırdığını bununla birlikte salgın ile birlikte ortaya çıkan yasal düzenlemelerin de detaylı ve anlaşılır olmadığını, bu yasal düzenlemelerin anlaşılması ve uygulanması için gerekli zamanın verilmediği saptanmıştır. Bu olumsuz şartlar altında çalışan meslek mensupları, gereken itibarı ve ekonomik değeri görmediklerini de beyan etmişlerdir.
This study was conducted to measure the level of impact of accounting professionals on the Covid-19 pandemic. For this purpose, a questionnaire was applied to 139 professional members registered in the Sivas Chamber of Certified Public Accountants. The data obtained were statistically evaluated. As a result of the study, it was determined that the remote working conditions that emerged with the pandemic negatively affected the communication and relations of the professionals with the taxpayers. This situation increased their work stress, as well as the legal regulations that emerged with the pandemic, were not detailed and understandable, and the necessary time was not given to understand and implement these legal regulations. Professionals working under these unfavorable conditions have also stated that they do not receive the necessary prestige and economic value.
