The aim of this study is to determine the effect of indol acetic acid, used in order to reduce the intake of cadmium accumulated in the environment due to various reasons, on the intake and accumulation of nutrient elements given for plant nutrition purposes. As material in the trial; 5 doses of cadmium (0, 50, 100, 150, 200 μM Cd) and 3 indol doses of acetic acid (0; 1 and 10 μM), perlit as medium material and marul as plant material was also used. Plants are grown, harvested with Hoagland nutritional solution. After the harvest, the age and dry weight of the plant samples, the leaf min, the height and moisture content, the content of phosphorus (P), potassium (K), magnesium (Mg), calcium (Ca), sulfur (S), iron (Fe), manganese (Mn) are determined. According to the desired results obtained from the test, the plant’s age and dry weight increased due to the increased IAA dose in the 0 and 50 μM Cd environments, but it decreased with the continued increase of the Cd dose. In the unapplicated environment, the content of phosphorus, sulfur and potassium in the plants increased with increased Cd doses, but the dose was reduced when 200 μM Cd came out. The content of phosphorus, sulfur and potassium in plants has increased with IAA applications performed while the concentration of Cd in the environment increases, with a decrease in the application of 10 μM IAA in the 200 μM Cd environment. The iron content of plants has increased in the use of 1 μM IAA in a non-Cd accumulation environment when the IAA dose is reduced to 10 μM. The manganese content has been reduced according to the control by the IAA applied to plants in the unapplicated environment. The manganese content is 50 and 100 μM Cd in the applied environment, while the iron content is 50, 100, 150 μM Cd in the applied environment has been reduced according to control with the IAA applied.
