Özet:

The subject of this study is to contribute to the prevention of early marriages by revealing the decisive conditions in the causes and consesquences of the commonly seen child bride concept. Early marriages cause proplems that prevent the phsical, pyschological, pedagogical and social development of the child. Child marriage which is also happening in Turkey, was a forced global problem. The main factor ensures the continuity of early marriages is associated with being seen a social necessity not social problem. Parental attitudes, religiously referenced explanations, lack of education or the inability to fulluy reflect legal processes into public life maket he solution to the problem difficult. Although early marriage is a problem for both sexes. Girl are particularly affected. The sexist view of women who dominate society reinforces the negative position of girls who are married at an early age. The development of women means the development of society. This is why child brides should be seen as a social problem not an individual. Thıs situation should be seen not only as individual but also as a social problem. As a preventive to the problem of children bride it was determined that the level of education and individual awareness should be increased and the situation regulated by legal rules should be combat against the patriarchal structure in which the gender roles produced by the social structure are performed as a basis.
