This study aims to analyze the tactical performance of under 17 football players in the different stages of the game. The research was conducted with 24 young athletes of the under 17 category of an amateur football club of a city of the western border of Rio Grande do Sul. The study was characterized as descriptive of quantitative character. The FUT-SAT system was used as an instrument for analyzing tactical performance data. Descriptive statistics (frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation) and inferential (Chi-square test) were used to analyze tactical procedural performance. with a significance level of 5%. To perform these analyzes, we used the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) software. Based on the data found, it is concluded that midfielder athletes have greater actions of offensive tactical principles, as well as defenders in defensive tactical principles. It can also be inferred that the main offensive tactical principles developed were Penetration by attackers and Defensive Containment by defenders.
