Abstract:

The novel has a dialectic relationship with society. Roman is a representative of different voices in the society and is also an area for the construction of different socio-political speeches. In Iran, the novel is a new phenomenon that emerged in the last years of the Escape period and expands in the Pehlevî period. In this study, we will explore how novels reflect and influence the characteristics of the Iranian society. To address this issue, we tried to study the Romanes written in Persian of the time with a structural approach. In these years, the authors have tried to approach the various issues of the Iranian society in general. However, the issue of religion was the least of interest. The social issues that the writers have addressed have remained significantly stable during this 100 year period we have studied. In these years, novels that spread nationalism have succeeded in developing an anti-West tendency in society, especially in the late Pehlevite period.
