Abstract The text aims at examining the ways in which emotional involvement between man and machine have been discussed in media cultural products, in order to identify and analyze the differences between these appropriations and, above all, the consequent changes in life forms that legitimize or not this sensitization phenomenon on the mediatization processes which materialize it. For this purpose, movies, television series and newspaper reports will be focused, in order to perceive the transition of the debate from the sphere of fiction to the microuniverse of information and public opinion, now that sciencefiction enters the media ambience with the status of updated forms of life.
