Abstract:

Purpose: Study of nurses’ individual innovative behaviors and influencing factors.Method of treatment: Research is the identifying type. The research was carried out on nurses working in a state hospital in the eastern part of Turkey in April-June 2018. The study was sampled by 150 nurses working in n: 55 in intensive care clinics and n: 95 in internal/chirurgical clinics. The research has been permitted by writers, institutions and nurses who adapt the scale. The data were evaluated by the number, percentage, average, student t test in independent groups, Kruskall Wallis and Pearson correlation analysis.The findings: the average age of nurses involved in the study is 28,42±6,18, 70% women and 57,3% graduates. The total scale score of nurses’ individual innovation was 70,71±9,79. With regard to the factors affecting the individual innovations of nurses, it has been found that variables such as gender, civil status, educational status, economic status, professional experience, the clinic studied, the work intensity of the clinic, weekly working hours, the status of participation in professional activities and age have not been affected. However, the status of love for the profession and the status of participation in research activities related to the profession has been found to affect individual innovation.
